Dacomitinib is an EGFR inhibitor that’s used to treat Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). It’s especially for people who have certain types of mutations in their EGFR gene, like the ones found in exon 19 deletions or L858R mutations. It works by stopping EGFR signaling.
You can get this drug in three different strengths: 15 mg, 30 mg, and 45 mg. The usual dose is 45 mg, taken just once a day. The tablets are all coated and come in bottles with 30 pills in each one.
