Eltrombopag is a TPO receptor stimulator. It’s used to treat low platelet counts in immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and chronic hepatitis C. The main thing it does is boost platelet production.
You can get it in 25, 50, and 75 mg doses, but the usual dose is 50 mg taken every day, best on an empty stomach. The pills have a coating and they come in bottles with 30 pills each.
