Eltrombopag is a TPO receptor stimulator. It’s made just for treating low platelet counts in people with something called Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) and chronic hepatitis C. It gets the platelets going.
You can get this stuff in 25, 50, or 75 mg doses, all as film-coated tablets. Doctors usually say adults should take 50 mg once a day on an empty stomach. Each bottle holds 30 capsules.
