Erlotinib is a type of inhibitor that targets the epidermal growth factor receptor, also known as EGFR. It’s used to treat non-small cell lung cancer, also called NSCLC, and pancreatic cancer. It’s meant for people who have EGFR mutations.
It works by stopping EGFR signaling. You can get it in three different strengths: 25 mg, 100 mg, or 150 mg. And they all come as film-coated tablets.
The usual dose is 150 mg, taken once a day on an empty stomach. Each bottle has 30 tablets.
