Tucatinib is a drug used for treating HER2-positive breast cancer patients who have brain tumors. It’s a HER2 blocker that stops the HER2 signal. The drug comes in two doses: 50 mg and 150 mg, both in a film-coated tablet form.
The suggested dose for adults is 300 mg, taken twice a day, preferably with some food. Each time, you take two 150 mg pills. The med comes in bottles with 60 pills each.
The treatment should be taken regularly, and sticking to the dosing plan is really important for it to work well.
