Sorafenib is a kinase inhibitor. It’s designed to target certain kinases, like VEGFR, PDGFR, and RAF. These kinases are super important for tumor growth.
Sorafenib is used for advanced renal cell carcinoma, hard-to-operate-on liver cancer, and thyroid cancer that doesn’t respond to radioactive iodine. It comes in 200 mg tablets. You’re supposed to take 400 mg twice a day, which adds up to 800 mg a day.
You need to take these tablets on an empty stomach. Each bottle has 120 tablets.
