Sunitinib is a multi-kinase inhibitor. It’s mostly used to treat RCC, GIST, and NETs in the pancreas. It works by blocking different kinases.
Key ones are VEGFR and PDGFR. There are three dosages: 12.5 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg. They come in capsules.
The usual dose for adults is 50 mg per day. You take it for four weeks, then you take a two-week break. Each cycle is six weeks long.
Each bottle has 28 capsules.
