Vemurafenib is used to treat BRAF V600E-mutation melanoma. It keeps the BRAF protein down, stopping a process that helps cells divide. The pill comes as a tablet with a strength of 240 milligrams and they’re coated.
The dose they usually suggest is 960 milligrams twice each day. So you take two pills at each dose. You can take the dose with food or without it.
These pills come in bottles with 112 in each. The main ingredient in it, called vemurafenib, is supposed to zero in on the wonky BRAF protein that’s too much in melanoma cells.
