Crizotinib’s job is to tackle lung cancer that’s ALK-positive, ROS1-positive, or MET-positive. You can get it in two doses: 200 mg or 250 mg, and they come in capsules. You’re supposed to take 250 mg twice a day, and it doesn’t matter if you eat or not.
The capsules come in bottles with 60 of them. It stops a bunch of different kinases. It’s used for a type of lung cancer that has some certain gene changes.
You can take the capsules with or without eating. Possible side effects are nausea, throwing up, diarrhea, and higher liver enzyme levels. You gotta stick to the dose your doc told you to take.
