Erlotinib’s job is to block the EGFR signaling pathway and it’s used to treat lung cancer and pancreas cancer in folks who have EGFR mutations. It stops the EGFR signals from doing their thing. You can get it in 3 doses: 25, 100, and 150 mg.
They’re all these little pills with a coating on them. The doc usually says to take the 150 mg pill just once a day, on an empty belly. Each bottle holds 30 of these little tablets.
