Anagrelide is used to lower platelet numbers in people who have essential thrombocythemia. It works by stopping megakaryocytes from growing up, which in turn cuts down on how many platelets get made. The medication comes as 0.5 mg capsules.
You’re supposed to take 0.5 mg of the stuff four times a day, but you may need to change it up. These capsules come in bottles, and each one holds 100 capsules.
