Quizartinib is an FLT3 inhibitor. It’s used to treat acute myeloid leukemia that has FLT3-ITD mutations, especially when it comes back or doesn’t respond to treatment. The way it works is by blocking FLT3 signals.
They sell this drug in two strengths: 17.7 mg and 26.5 mg in film-coated tablets. After a starting phase, the usual dosage is 53 mg taken once every day. You’ll find Quizartinib in bottles, with each one holding 28 tablets.
You’ll start with a ramp-up period, and the tablets can be taken with or without eating.
