This is Lorlatinib, a type of medicine that’s specifically made to help with a certain kind of lung cancer that doesn’t go away even after using other ALK drugs. It works by going after certain parts in cancer cells to stop the growth. It comes in tablet form, kind of like a really thin candy coating around the pill, in two strengths: 25 mg and a stronger 100 mg.
Doctors usually tell adults to take 100 mg each day, and they can take it with or without eating something. Each bottle you get holds 30 tablets.
