Crizotinib is a drug that’s used to treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) when you have an ALK-positive or ROS1-positive type. The drug actually inhibits ALK, ROS1, and MET kinases. Those are the genes linked to some lung cancers.
It comes in capsule form with two dosage sizes: 200 mg and 250 mg. You’re supposed to take 250 mg of it, twice a day, either with or without eating. Each bottle has 60 capsules, which should get you through one month of treatment.
It’s super important that you stick with the dosing plan to make sure the treatment works.
