Crizotinib is an inhibitor for ALK (Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase) or ROS1 (c-ros oncogene 1, rearranged, during transfection) gene-positive Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). It basically stops those kinase things, the ones that cause cancer cells to grow. You’ll find it as capsules, and you have two doses: 200 mg and 250 mg.
You’re usually meant to take 250 mg, twice a day, and you can do it on an empty stomach or after eating. There are 60 pills in each bottle of Crizotinib. It’s mainly for those who get positive test results for either the ALK or ROS1 gene changes.
