Asciminib is a type of BCR-ABL inhibitor. It’s used for CML patients who’ve tried other treatments and they didn’t work. It zeroes in on the ABL myristoyl pocket.
You can get it in two strengths—20 mg and 40 mg. They both come in those film-coated tablets. The usual dose is 80 mg a day, or you can split it up and take 40 mg two times a day.
It comes in bottles with 60 tablets in each one.
