This inhibitor, Crizotinib, is made specifically to treat lung cancer. It’s for those with cancer that has ALK, ROS1, or MET genes. Crizotinib is an ALK/ROS1/MET inhibitor.
It works by stopping the activity of several kinases linked to these genes. You can get it as either a 200 mg or a 250 mg capsule. For adults, the usual dose is 250 mg, taken twice a day.
You can take it with or without eating. The drug comes in bottles with 60 capsules each. It’s made to be taken by mouth.
