Binimetinib is an MEK inhibitor. It’s used to treat BRAF V600E/K-mutant melanoma, and it’s most effective when paired with encorafenib. The stuff in it stops the MEK signaling pathway in its tracks.
Binimetinib tablets are available in 15 mg film-coated form, with a recommended dose of 45 mg taken twice daily. Bottles come with 84 pills. That’s enough for a month, so taking it’s easy on the schedule.
The doses are set up so they work really well and keep the not-so-nice effects down.
