Ivosidenib is used for treating acute myeloid leukemia, specifically the kind that comes back or doesn’t respond to treatment and has IDH1 mutations. It works by hitting the IDH1 enzyme, which helps cut down on cancer cell growth. The medicine comes as 250 mg tablets with a film coating.
You’re supposed to take 500 mg of it once every day, by mouth. These tablets come in bottles that hold 60 pills.
