Fidaxomicin’s main job is to treat infections caused by this bug called C. diff. Fidaxomicin works by keeping those bad bacteria from making RNA, and that stops them from growing.
It comes as tablets with a coating, and each one has 200 mg of the good stuff. You take it for C. diff.
infections—two tablets a day for ten days. Each bottle has 20 of these tablets, which is enough for the whole treatment.
