Capmatinib is a special drug that blocks a protein called MET. It’s used to treat a type of lung cancer that skips the 14th part of the MET gene. This drug is made to go after the MET enzyme, which helps stop cancer cells from growing.
The drug comes in two strengths, 150 mg and 200 mg, and they’re these tablets with a clear coating. You usually take 400 mg, twice a day—either with or without eating. The tablets come in bottles, each holding 60 tablets.
