Regorafenib is a kind of drug that can slow down or stop several different kinds of proteins, known as kinases. It helps in dealing with cancer that has spread from the colon and rectum, cancer in the stomach, and a certain liver cancer. The drug works by stopping specific proteins called VEGFR and TIE2, plus a few more like them.
The drug is available in the form of 40 mg film-coated tablets and is recommended to be taken at a dose of 160 mg once daily for a period of 21 days within a 28-day cycle. During each cycle, which is four weeks long, you should get a bottle that holds 84 of these tablets.
