Olaparib is a type of PARP inhibitor. It’s used to treat ovarian, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers that have a BRCA mutation. It works by stopping cancer cells from fixing their DNA.
You can get it in 100 mg and 150 mg doses. The usual dose is 300 mg, taken two times a day. You can take the tablets with or without eating.
The medicine comes in bottles with 60 tablets in each, and they’re covered with a film.
