Tivozanib is a VEGFR inhibitor. It’s used for treating advanced renal cell carcinoma. There are two doses of it: 890 micrograms and 1.34 milligrams.
You’re supposed to take 1.34 milligrams every day for 21 days, then take a break for 7 days. It’s a 28-day cycle. It’s just as good as the name brand stuff and can be taken with or without eating.
Each bottle has 21 capsules to last you for one cycle. Tivozanib works by stopping the growth of blood vessels that feed tumors. Being a generic, it should work just as well as the name brand, but it might cost less.
