Vemurafenib is a BRAF inhibitor. It’s designed to hit the V600E mutation, which is common in melanoma. The drug comes as film-coated pills, each with 240 mg of the good stuff.
The usual dose for folks with BRAF V600E melanoma is 960 mg, split into two doses each day. You can take this dose with or without eating. You’ll find the pills in bottles with 112 of them.
Vemurafenib does its job by stopping the BRAF pathway, which is super important for cancer cells to grow and multiply.
