Ponatinib is a BCR-ABL inhibitor. It’s approved to treat CML and Ph ALL, especially in cases where other TKIs haven’t worked. It’s made to go after lots of kinases linked to those diseases.
You can get this drug in two doses: 15 mg and 45 mg. Doctors usually recommend 45 mg a day for adults. You can take that one tablet with or without food.
The pills are easy to swallow because they’re coated. And they come in bottles with 30 pills each.
