Alectinib is a kinase inhibitor that’s really good at treating a type of lung cancer called ALK-positive NSCLC. It works by stopping ALK signals, which helps to slow down the cancer’s growth. It comes in 150 mg capsules.
You take 600 mg, twice a day, and it’s best to have it with food. The capsules come in bottles with 240 pills each. That’s enough for a month if you take them as directed.
Alectinib is safe and has become a big deal for treating advanced ALK-positive NSCLC.
