Asciminib is a special kind of medicine that targets a protein called BCR-ABL. It’s made for CML patients who didn’t respond to other treatments. It goes after this specific part of the BCR-ABL protein called the myristoyl pocket.
You can get it in two doses, either 20 mg or 40 mg. Tablets are available in doses of 80 mg taken once a day or 40 mg taken twice a day. Each bottle holds 60 tablets.
