Capmatinib is a special drug that blocks the MET enzyme. It’s for lung cancer that spreads and has a certain genetic mutation. It blocks part of the MET enzyme to keep cancer cells from multiplying.
They make the drug in two doses, 150 mg and 200 mg. Doctors usually say to take 400 mg of the 200 mg version, twice a day. It’s okay to take with or without meals—no big deal either way.
The capsules are sold in bottles of 60.
