Dabrafenib’s job is to treat BRAF V600E/K-mutant melanoma and NSCLC. Its main goal is to stop the BRAF kinase protein, which gets all wonky in a lot of melanoma and NSCLC patients. You take it in capsule form, 50 mg or 75 mg, each one.
You’re supposed to take 150 mg of it every day, twice without eating anything first. So to get that 150 mg, you’ve got to pop either two 75 mg pills or four of the 50 mg ones. Each bottle has 120 pills in it.
