Elacestrant is a SERD for ER /HER2breast cancer, selectively degrading ER signaling. You can get it in two strengths: 86 mg and 345 mg, both in film-coated tablets. The suggested amount to take is 345 mg, taken once a day, and it’s best with food.
It comes in bottles with 30 tablets in each. Elacestrant works by attaching to the ER and then causing something called BET to bind. This leads to the ER getting destroyed and the genes it targets not being transcribed as much.
The tablets are coated to make them easier to take. You can take them with or without eating.
