Eltrombopag is this thing called a TPO receptor agonist. It’s used to help with low platelet counts in people with ITP or chronic hepatitis C. It helps boost platelet numbers.
They make it in tablet form, with strengths of 25, 50, and 75 milligrams. The doc usually says to take it once a day, 50 milligrams, on an empty stomach. Each bottle has 30 tablets of the stuff.
