Fidaxomicin is a special antibiotic made just for treating Clostridioides difficile infections. It stops the bacteria from making RNA. The drug comes in 200 mg tablets with a coating.
You’re supposed to take 200 mg of it two times a day for 10 days. The tablets come in bottles with 20 in each.
