Filgotinib is a type of medicine taken by mouth that blocks a specific protein, the JAK1. It’s called a JAK1 inhibitor. It’s used for managing arthritis that’s pretty bad, by helping to control the way the body’s immune system responds.
The pill form of this med comes in two different strengths—you got the 100mg option and the 200mg option. Each tablet is covered with a thin, clear coat. You’re usually advised to take the 200mg dose every day.
They usually come in bottles that have 30 tablets in each, all with that clear coating.
