Gilteritinib is an FLT3 inhibitor. It’s used to treat AML that comes back or doesn’t respond to treatment, especially when there are FLT3 mutations. It works by stopping FLT3 kinase, which in turn helps shrink those leukemia cells.
The tablets come in 40 mg doses. You’re supposed to take 120 mg every day, just one pill a day. The pills are coated and come in bottles with 90 pills in each.
