Ivosidenib is an oral med. It’s used for AML that’s come back or doesn’t respond to treatment, specifically when there’s an IDH1 mutation. It blocks the IDH1 enzyme.
It zero in on the bad version and helps slow down cell growth. You take it in 250 mg tablets, and the doc usually says to take 500 mg every day. You swallow a pill, and you get them in little bottles with 60 in each.
