Ixazomib is a proteasome inhibitor. It’s used to treat multiple myeloma along with other treatments. It’s made to mess up how cancer cells break down proteins.
You can get this drug in capsules, coming in 2.3 mg, 3 mg, and 4 mg doses. Adults usually take 4 mg of this stuff, by mouth, once a week on days 1, 8, and 15 every month. You just take one 4 mg capsule each time.
The pills come in packs with 3 in each, sealed up in those little blisters.
