Larotrectinib is a super selective TRK inhibitor. It’s made to treat solid tumors that have NTRK gene fusions. It goes after TRKA, TRKB, and TRKC to stop tumor growth.
They use it to treat cancers, like those that can’t be removed or have spread, in both adults and kids, that have NTRK gene fusions. There are three ways you can take Larotrectinib — as little as 25 mg or a heftier dose of up to 100 mg in capsule form, or a 20 mg/mL liquid option. Adults get the usual 100 mg twice a day, but for the kids, it’s all about their body size.
You’ll find each bottle filled with a good 60 of those capsules.
