Praseltinib is used for treating two kinds of cancer: Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and thyroid cancer that have a certain mutation. The way it works is by stopping a certain protein, called RET kinase, that helps cancer cells grow. You’re supposed to take 400 milligrams of this once a day on an empty stomach.
These capsules are 100 milligrams each, and you get a 60-capsule bottle. Don’t eat anything before you take it because food could mess with how the medicine works.
