So, Resmetirom is this thing called a THR-β agonist, and it’s like the go-to med for treating something called NASH. And it really targets how fat is used up in the liver. The pills are 80 mg each and you’re supposed to take one pill every day.
Each bottle comes with 30 of those 80 mg pills. The idea is to help control how NASH gets worse, stuff like less fat in your liver, less swelling, and trying to avoid getting fibrosis or cirrhosis. But don’t take more than the pill your doc told you to because going over can increase the chances of bad stuff, like heart issues.
