Tazemetostat is used to treat two specific cancers: epithelioid sarcoma and follicular lymphoma, by targeting a protein called EZH2. It does this by stopping something called ‘epigenetic regulation’, which is a process that affects genes. You get Tazemetostat in the shape of tablets, which are 200 mg each and are coated to make them easier to swallow.
Most people take 800 mg a day, split into two doses. So, that works out to four of the 200 mg tablets each time. Each bottle holds 240 tablets.
You keep taking it unless a doctor tells you to stop.
