Vigabatrin is a drug that stops GABA transaminase. It’s used to treat tough epilepsy and baby spasms. It does its thing by boosting GABA, which is a type of neurotransmitter.
You can get Vigabatrin in two types: tablets and those little powder packets. The tablets come in 500 mg doses, just like the powder packets. For adults and kids over two, the dose is usually 1 to 3 grams a day, split up over the day.
