Ivosidenib is used to treat AML that’s come back or doesn’t respond to other treatments, especially when there’s an IDH1 mutation. It’s made to go after cancer cells and slow them down by stopping a messed-up IDH1 enzyme. You can get this drug as 250 mg tablets with a coating.
For adults, they usually suggest taking 500 mg of the stuff once a day, and you just swallow it. The tablets come in bottles with 60 pills in each one.
