Brigatinib is a special inhibitor for ALK-positive lung cancer, especially the kind that’s spread all over. It works by stopping the ALK signaling pathway. This is a really important thing that lung cancer cells use to grow and spread when they have ALK.
You can get the pill in three strengths—30, 90, and 180 milligrams. All of them are coated with a special film. The folks who make it suggest starting with 90 milligrams once a day for the first week, then going up to 180 milligrams every day after that.
