Quizartinib is an FLT3 inhibitor. It’s used for AML that comes back or doesn’t respond to treatment, especially when FLT3-ITD mutations are involved. It works by blocking FLT3 signaling.
You can get this drug in two sizes: 17.7 mg and 26.5 mg, both in a film-coated tablet form. The usual dose is 53 mg, taken every day, but you start with a lower dose to get used to it. It comes in bottles with 28 tablets each.
