Sorafenib is a type of kinase inhibitor. It goes after a bunch of different kinases, like VEGFR, PDGFR, and RAF kinases. It’s prescribed for advanced kidney cancer, hard-to-remove liver cancer, and thyroid cancer that doesn’t respond to iodine treatments.
You take the 200 mg pill. They usually suggest 400 mg, twice a day. So that’s 800 mg in total.
You should take these tablets on an empty stomach. And they come in a bottle with 120 pills.
