Cabozantinib is a medicine that’s made for treating two types of cancer: renal cell carcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma. It stops some kinases, like VEGFR, MET, and others, from working. These are like switches for cell growth.
You can get Cabozantinib in 3 different doses: 20 mg, 40 mg, and the highest one is 60 mg. The usual advice is to take 60 mg a day. It’s best to take it on an empty stomach so it works really well.
The pills have a coating and they come in bottles with 30 of them inside each.
