Ivosidenib is designed to block the IDH1 enzyme. It’s used for treating AML, especially in cases where the IDH1 gene has changed. It works by locking onto the changed IDH1, keeping cancer cells from multiplying.
You take it as film-coated tablets that are 250 mg each. The recommended amount is 500 mg, taken just once a day, and that’s two tablets. The tablets come in bottles of 60.
