Neratinib is a type of inhibitor. It’s made for treating breast cancer that’s HER2-positive. It works by stopping EGFR/HER2 signals from doing their thing.
You can get it in tablet form. Each one has 40 mg of the main stuff. You should take 240 mg a day, with food.
The stuff comes in bottles, with 180 tablets in each. The main ingredient goes after something called HER2. It’s often too much in breast cancer cells, which can make cells grow out of control.
Neratinib is used when the cancer gets worse after other treatments that target HER2.
