Olaparib is a type of drug that stops a process in cancer cells, mainly for ovarian, breast, pancreatic, and prostate cancers. You can get it in two sizes, a 100 mg pill and a 150 mg one, both are coated with a film. You’re supposed to take 300 mg, two times a day.
It doesn’t matter if you eat before or after you take it. It’s usually in a bottle that has 60 tablets in it. Olaparib stops cancer cells from fixing their DNA, which slows them down from growing and living.
